The design brief was for an extremely elegant yet aggressive yacht with modern and unique lines, which will remain timelessly stylish. She is built to the highest Northern European standards with the most luxurious accommodations and a layout featuring all the elements of a much larger yacht. The yacht meets all of the safety requirements of Lloyd’s Register and MCA.
Safety, comfort, luxury, quality, and the use of the most advanced technologies were priorities during the yacht’s design and construction phases. The effect is the C133 motor yacht, the amalgamation of world-class design and technology with Polish craftsmanship. Subsequent C133 yachts can be commissioned from Conrad Shipyard as semi-custom models with the option of a distinct setup according to the individual needs of the client.
The C133 is Conrad Shipyard’s first step on the path to developing a production line of semi-custom luxury yachts, which will allow it to meet the demand for short waiting periods from the time of commission to delivery.
The completion of this project is not only significant for the market expansion of Conrad Shipyard, but is a milestone in the history of the Polish shipbuilding industry. Polish producers of luxury yachts distinguish themselves from the competition because of their price and quality. Polish ships sail all over the world, and one out of three yachts in European waters was built in Poland. After the United States, Poland is the second largest producer of motor yachts up to 9 meters in length. It is time for Polish companies to enter the most luxurious segment of the market and the U.S.
Poland is currently developing the “Promotion of Polish economy based on Polish brands - Polish Economy Brand” project dedicated to SMEs. 12 priority sectors of the Polish economy have been chosen, which have the best chance of becoming successful internationally. The Polish Investment and Trade Agency is responsible for carrying out nine promotion programs, including one focused on yachts and boats. More than 95% of Poland’s boat production is intended for export, which is why PAIH aims to promote Polish yachts and their entry into the North American market, where success is a sign of one’s position in the global market.
Due to the growth and success of native superyacht producers, Polish shipyards are an attractive investment partner. According to the Polish Chamber of Marine Industry and Water Sports – POLBOAT, exports last year exceeded 1 billion PLN. Experts forecast that this year exports will increase by 15 percent.
